The Federation of Asian Polymer Societies (FAPS)
The Federation of Asian Polymer Societies (FAPS) is a relationship of Asian countries relationship, for instance, polymer or science social requests appreciating practices related to polymer science, planning, and development. FAPS was built up in 2007 by suggestion of Professor Jung-Il Jin (President of IUPAC (2007 ~ 2009)) to stimulate and energize joint effort among the Asian Polymer specialists (see Council people!). The present people fuse fourteen countries, Bangladesh, Beijing/China, India, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Nepal, Pakistan, Russia, Singapore, South Korea, Taipei/China, Thailand, and Vietnam. Further Asian countries are depended upon to join FAPS. The name of the affiliation may be the Federation of Asian Polymer Societies, starting now and into the foreseeable future called FAPS, or Federation.
The goals of FAPS are :
- To add to the movement of polymer science and advancement in each one of its perspectives.
- To advance continuing with cooperation among the polymer affiliations and the polymer specialists in the part Societies or related affiliations.
- To take part with other all-inclusive affiliations overseeing subjects of a polymeric nature.
The Founding Members of FAPS may be :
- The Polymer Division of the Chinese Chemical Society
- The Society of Polymer Science, India
- The Society of Polymer Science, Japan and
- The Polymer Society of Korea (The Republic of Korea)
Cooperation of FAPS may be keen on any overall population or related relationship, for instance, relationship of analysts and draftsmen, geographically organized in the Asian Region, which has at any rate a segment of their activities focused on polymer science and/or development.
An overall population or related relationship, for instance, alliance may apply to join FAPS by sending its application to the Council (portrayed by Section 3.2).
